DECISION TO DONE

A 6-month workshop and mentoring program, equipping your leaders with the knowledge, skills and scaffolding required to set up your transformation project for success.

What Decision to Done includes:

Baseline

Prior to any team workshops, we conduct a diagnostic assessment to determine how the executive team currently make decisions and the success of that approach.

In this workshop we will cover:

  • The decision making continuum
  • The most important part of the continuum (the problem definition)
  • Problem definition framework
  • Workshopping the problem definition
  • Where to from here (re transformation as well as program)
  • Allocation of homework.

Workshop 2 (Half day): An evidence-based approach to robust decision making

In this workshop we will cover:

  • What good decision making looks like
  • How to know if your decision making is robust
  • Structured techniques for making your decisions more robust

  • Allocation of homework.

Workshop 3 (Half day): Group think in decision making

  • Allocation of homework.

Workshop 4 (Half day): Bias and preferences in decision making

In this workshop we will cover:

  • What are biases and how do they impact decisions and outcomes
  • Structured techniques for recognising and counteracting biases
  • Where to from here (re transformation as well as program)
  • Allocation of homework.

  • Allocation of homework

Mentoring

A virtual mentoring session (to be taken at any point during the 6 months) will be conducted with each member of the executive team to work through practical concerns.

Re-baseline

Following the workshops and mentoring sessions, we will conduct a second diagnostic assessment to determine how the executive team are now making decisions, and the impact that is having on their teams and the organisation more broadly.

Workshop 6 (Half day): Debrief and problem solving

In this workshop, we will debrief the findings of the re-baseline assessment and facilitate problem solving of emerging practical issues.
