EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN

How teams can learn to thrive in the face of ambiguity

What Embrace the Unknown includes:

Pre-Brief

A one-hour in-person or virtual meeting with you to talk through what to expect during the program and surface any specific needs or issues.

Individual IAm self-assessment

Each person will complete The I Am® Self-Assessment, which will provide individuals with clear information about how their thoughts and attitudes motivate certain behaviours. The IAm Assessment is supported by a comprehensive, research-based development program that focuses on building the eight tolerance of ambiguity skills.

One day workshop with Ambiguity Apocalypse ™

By the end of the workshop participants will:

  • Clearly define, articulate and challenge how embracing uncertainty will help you and your organisation thrive.
  • Develop a positive mindset toward ambiguity and change leading to improved organisational outcomes.
  • Understand how their group profile and individual ‘IAm’ profiles affect them and others. Learn how your brain responds when you are faced with uncertainty.
  • Unpack the behaviours so you can better navigate ambiguity.
  • Develop insights into how you can rewire your brain to succeed despite the uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Plan the implementation of new habits using practical techniques to successfully thrive in constantly changing workplaces.

The workshop includes exclusive access to Ambiguity Apocalypse ™. This is a purpose-built

game to let people experience and get comfortable with discomfort in a fun and engaging way by:

  • Exposing people to the characteristics of ambiguity.
  • Surfacing team dynamics when everyone is out of their comfort zone.
  • Helping participants understand the value of tapping into different perspectives. Experiencing the ups and downs of leadership and different leadership styles in a simulated complex, stressful and ambiguous situation in a safe and fun way.
  • Providing opportunities for personal reflection to understand how people respond to ambiguity in different ways.
  • Familiarising people with the skills that help build tolerance of ambiguity and practice using them.

Post workshop debrief

A one-hour meeting to share workshop insights with you and confirm follow-up actions.

IAm self-development guide

A comprehensive, research-based development guide for each participant that focuses on building skills and knowledge in mindfulness, courageous actions, curiosity, creativity, flexible thinking patterns, unlocking inertia, finding focus, and assertion. The guide supports participants to engage with their individualised report and can result in improved decision-making, higher levels of resilience, creative thinking, improved collaboration and influence, adaptability, comfort with tackling complex problems, as well as increased emotional intelligence.

IAm self-reflection journal
